A slight preview of the new cymbals can be seen tomorrow, on the 11th of April in Rock Cafe, Tallinn, where Sandra will have a solo performance on the drums as part of the II National Drummers Show supporting the local bikers legend band Kolumbus Kris!

We return to the city we left almost a year ago giving live shows.
An old abandoned yeast factory is reawaken for Metal shows and NEOANDERTALS will play a set of tunes in 13 days on Friday, the 7th of November. Click the "Travellings" section to check out who else is playing that night.

Also there is an update on the whereabouts of Roland Seer, the drummer who played on "Neander Valley" and "Neanderthals Where Master Butchers". He is an active street musician in Spain now, enjoying the more simple lifestyle.

 Drumcam footage of drummer Sandra Vungi playing live some new NEOANDERTALS tunes has been posted online on YouTube.
 It was captured on tape during our last show we had this past Saturday (December 1st 2007) in Riga, Latvia and marks a milestone in Sandra Vungi's playing, making her overall drumming experience only 1,5 years long.

Also a new live date added: NEOANDERTALS will start the new year with a show in Tartu's Rock&Roll Club on the 5th of January 2008.

After all the horrible and chaotic distribution "Neanderthals Were Master Butchers" has had (Forensick Music doesn't even sell it through their international online store), Morbid Records made it finally happen through eBay! 
 We also posted a barbarian vocal outro clip from the song "Brooding Over a Dead Breed" to our YouTube channel.

NEOANDERTALS will play next Saturday in Riga, Latvia.

Our first European run was fantastic!
We loved everything about Wien (Austria) - the atmosphere, Willi the promoter,  all of our new friends and our very good friend Stefan with the accommodation & hosting! It was absolutely fabulous!!! The small mountain village of Jablonne nad Orlici (Czech Rebuplic) was very beautiful and we had some nice drinks through the night. Metalheads are crazy and wild in Krakow (Poland), thank you for that! Things got too much out of hand in Slovakia with all the extra people doing vocals - it was experimental, but this will never happen again. We also greatly appreciate anyone who bought merch! Flaying rocked - thank you Karlis, Estragons, Viesturs, Viktor, Janis, Evgenij and Ivars! We did have some of the best times ever!

On to other topics. Fans from Mexico wrote us that they could obtain our debut album "Neanderthals Were Master Butchers" through Morbid Records (Germany). We still have no word or clue from Forensick Music about any possible release date... So we just have to guess that the CD is out. It has been 7 months from the time it was originally announced to be put out and 16 months from the time it was originally recorded, but, oh well, here it is: "Neanderthals Were Master Butchers" available worldwide through the Morbid Records distro: click here to buy

The tour in Lithuania was the best blast we ever had so far! The crowds were especially brutal, insane and wild in Klaipeda!! Thank you for watching me and Sandra play the avant-garde tunes, it was definitely brutal.

In the end of September NEOANDERTALS will fly to Lithuania for 2 dates of metal shows! Also we are planning an European Trek with our bros from Flaying (Latvia). The video takes us into the world beyond the concept described on the "Neanderthals Were Master Butchers" album. That LP was all about the Neanderthals and the rising of the undead neo-Neanderthal menace. But what happens when the neo-Neanderthals have put an end to mankind? The Neanderthals believed that the spirits of the dead, whose body would not be defleshed, will come back to haunt the living. Therefore the annihilators from the last primate wars will make sure that every single carrion in this post-survival world is freed from its flesh. Old motors and butchering devices are robustly reused by the semi-intelligent neo-Neanderthal zombies to smash the leftovers into a utter mess of marrow and flesh. Every piece of working machinery decorated with the skulls of sapiens. Scenes of skinned carcasses stripped of meat mixed with clips of the band performing.

The concert footage was captured on tape on the 18th of May 2006 at a show in Rock Café, Tallinn, Estonia.

There are 3 crucial milestones to be announced in the evolutionary history of Neoandertals:

1.) The Debut "NEANDERTHALS WERE MASTER BUTCHERS" is recorded, engineered, the mass of bass mastered and all of the artwork is almost done, but it is still yet to be packed! It has no master to take care the business side of the product at this moment. In time, a proper trade shall be made with a label!

2 mp3 tracks from the debut entitled "REBIRTH OF AN ANCIENT MENACE" and "NEO-NEANDERTHALS TRAVELLING THROUGH CONSUMED CONTINENTS" are available as mp3-s or at myspace.com/neoandertals.
